Kitteh Capers

My darling all white kitteh is a most affectionate rescue cat.

She disappeared and it turned out that she had been shut in a greenhouse by accident.  The local people found where she lived and so she was brought home.

You can read about her and her friends capers at Ebo-nai Skye on Facebook or search Facebook for #EbonaiSkye or #IvoraiMyst or #NinjaShadow.

All of this has worn me out.

Book Hunt

Helping a friend has caused me to wonder, what were the titles of all those marvellous books I read?
When I was young, I used a mirror to reflect the light of a street-lamp, across onto a white wall beside my pillow. The light was bright enough to read by; until my mother came to bed, at ten thirty or eleven o'clock at night.

And so it was that I read many books. And it lead me to wonder what were the titles? What were other peoples favourite books of their childhoods?
Are Annuals still as popular?
What series books are still firm favourites?
Which are still considered classic reading, for families who want to in-still old fashioned values into their children, and who want to share the joy of a book well loved?
Any suggestions?

Weird Weather

It was good the other winter when the snow came, for Dips in the Deep Freeze -- you only had to put your hand out of the back door!

This last winter seems to have been much wetter.

Now the current winter, is it just me, that has put the heating on in the last few days of August? And the light levels seem very low.
Gloomy everywhere.
Think I'm wrong?
The trees have started turning colour early this year. They think it's gloomy so they have begun an early change.
Take a look around outside and see what you think.
